Off to Tenerife in the after Crimbo (staying on the south part of the island near the airport) & wonder if there's anything notable about other than the LCDH near Playa de Las Americas?

I went in the summer and stayed by the airport.

I couldn't find anything locally and the LCDH was around €150 round trip so gave it a miss.

The airport only sells local cigars so don't make the same mistake I did and wait for duty free 😩

Yikes, that's quite a cost for a trip there. Have emailed them to see if they have a stock list to see if anything can be reserved & is worth the trip🤞🏼

I've seen Osor mentioned in a couple of older posts, and also seen a shop called Some Cigars?

Also emailed LCDH & they say they can deliver to the hotel 🤔

If there's like two layers of cigars. What's in the rest of it? Super fine over the calf socks?

At those prices I'd expect them to come with a gold plated rolls royce

The osor shop no longer exists. It is now Some Cigars of which you also have a shop in the north (Santa Cruz). The shop located in los Cristianos mainly has new world cigars. Be careful at the LCDH in Playa, prices for high end sticks are higher than in the UK!

Price for a taxi from airport to playa or los Cristianos is about 35€ one way

Crazy that the cost of a taxi is similar to a full flight to various European destinations

They also have a kiosk in Costa Adeje if you stay there

These are the gems available in the shop at the place I'm staying. Thankfully brought a selection with me

Also, a little vent if I may....how come cigar & cigarette smokers are only allowed to light up in certain areas of the resort, while Vapers pump out plume of putrid smelling fumes from their sunbeds? Just adds to my dislike of vapes & their users that have zero regard for others around them.

Even if a was allowed to smoke a cigar on my sun lounger, I wouldn't feel it was fair on others (especially with kids) being down wind, so would purposefully go find a more secluded area

Not at the Arona Gran are you? That's one of the reasons I stopped going there. Go to Cyprus instead and enjoy a cigar on your sunbed.

Cyprus is def on the short list, as well as somewhere in the Greek Islands.

Managed to get to Los Cristianos for a few hours yesterday. Osor only had a really small selection of local cigars which looked a little worse for wear. Some Cigars had a decent walk in, but barely any Cubans (apart from Cohiba & Trinidad of course) Monty 4's & RyJ Tubos was about the extent of it & all fresh boxes. Did grab a couple of H Upmann Coronas Junior Tubos. Reasonable selection of NW so grabbed a couple of boxes of Plascencia & some singles. Disappointing, but glad I managed to get something
