        Cheers
I will give them a go...

I've re-read this thread and I don't think I've seen a reference to the Partagas Serie D. This is one of my very favourite Robustos. It has a full-bodied taste and smooth draw that I love, and which I've only come close to strength-wise in Bolivar and Cohiba Robustos.

I'm not an expert on the whole playing field of Robustos by any means, but I do stick with what I find reliable - and sublime.

I find the Partagas Serie D Robusto is always a totally satisfying and beautifully relaxing smoke. I'd urge anyone who hasn't smoked this cigar to try one. I'm working on one in that picture!

With regards to Robustos, I was lucky enough to have a few Juan Lopez Selection No.2 given to me a while back, and really recommend them..
Not had a Partagas Serie D so can't compare but they are on par with the Cohiba in my mind....
                Really nice smoke....

The series D is a great cigar and, not wishing to court controversy, are be up there with the Cohiba robusto for consistently great quality along with the Ramon Allones Specially selected and the Bolivar Royal Corona... always have a box of each in the humidor!

May be worth trying a petit edmundo if Robustos are your thing, not my absoloute favs, they can have an over easy draw but still a good cigar!

Also, Sancho Panza Belicosos! What a wonderful smoke,I love that cigar!

Sancho Panza is bit overlooked brand in my opinion but a tremendous smoke.

I'd recommend RYJ Churchills and Short Churchills too...

I think the short ones even better than the big Churchill.
