  • Trinidad Ingenios Limited Edition

I smoked this cigar that was part of my wife's very clever Christmas present. Wow, I had never smoked a Trinidad before.
Absolutely delicious. How had I missed these before.
I understand this is a limited edition so aged. Can anyone recommend which other Trinidads I should try?
    Thanks
    Nick

boy, are you in for a treat anthony! the trinidad 2007 el is regarded as a not very good example of the line, so if you like that, you'll love the rest!! the other cigars in the brand are fantastic smokes, especially the (now deleted) robusto t, fundadores, reyes and robusto extra!!!! the 2010 el didn't get too many favourable reviews, if my memory serves me right!!

The reyes aren't all that expensive. I suggest you get some and age them well!

i find they're good to go with about a year on them, 3 years is really good!!! saying that, most of habanos' recent output has been great 'right off the truck'......

You cant beat a fundadores with a few years on it. Unlike many I quite liked the grassy profile of the ingenios.

                Thanks Alex,
I have just ordered a box of Trindad Robusto Extras. Is it worth resisting smoking them, or shall I just go for it??

Guess that depends what box code you end up getting, some places will have older stock than others...

                    Smoke at least two now.
That way, you will realise just how superb they are.
Then, when you like them, you will need to go buy another box immediately, as 10 isn't enough, and they are now discontinued!

Seriously.... the Trinidad Robusto Extra is my all time #1 cigar.

Reyes and Coloniales are wonderful. Trinidad Fundadores (especially the gold banded ones are absolutely fantastic).
