A simple question

As the title suggests this is a simple question. I'm thinking of buying some bits and bobs and only want one more robusto so going to get a 3 pack of something. So, which do you all think is better and why? The JL No.2 or the HDM Epi 2?

I am going to make a guess that the overal choice will tip towards the JL these days (going on commments from members over the last couple of yrs) but IMHO the Epi 2 is the more rewarding smoke, if suitably aged & looked after. I had one from 2004 on Wed & it was a gem. Have some from 98 & they are even better but that may have been better tobacco used at the time. If you're looking to smoke them more or less straight away, the JL is probably your best bet.

Epi2 would be my preference, it's a more refined and complex smoke than the JL2 which is a bit more upfront and single paced...

Decision made I was leaning towards the Epi2 as it is so the first 2 posts being both for the Epi I think that's what I shall do

As Simon stated JLs are much loved around here. I would take the JL 2 over the Hoyos. More flavour and strength.
An Epi 2 with 5 years on it can be devine but before this I find them One dimensional. A JL 2 with 5 years is better still imho.
Recent hoyos have been disapointing, Try to get some from the 90s they taste far supperior to the recent ones. Like a completely different brand.
