  • PL magnificos...... am i seeing things?

surely this has to be a misprint? ?54.99 for 1? i've been buying these up here in belfast, where they're being sold as singles for, well...... not ?54.99! i've smoked a couple, think i still have about 6 left......

Seems very high. Last time i got a single (last year) it was app. ?30. Still a rare and sought after cigar.

      A transposition I think Alex. ?45 from Ajay. http://www.havahavana.com/index.jsp?...HdrId5000010=0

But, these are becoming rarer I think. so maybe CGars are pricing accordingly?

I haven't seen these available for some time. Are there still some around in Belfast? I might have to take to kids to see the Titanic museum again soon..
        Weren't there humidors of 50 of these made after the inital run of 1400 boxes? (1000ish X 10, 400ish X 25)
I bought a couple in Sautters in March last year, they were about the last I saw on a shelf.

hey ryan, miss moran's in belfast city center (less than 5 minutes walk from the custom house square) has about 8 singles, ?20.50 each! the punch piramide uk RE is actually more expensive at ?22!!! i never get the time to get down much or i would've offered to get them for you! if you're driving up from dublin ( remember, we're only 100 odd miles away, 1.5 hrs drive), it could be worth it!

btw, what dd you think of the titanic museum? i haven't managed to get to it yet.....

            Hey Alex,

Don't know when I'll make it up again. To be honest I've enough Magnificos at the moment, well worth it for yourself though at that price, ?20.50 was the launch price for them..
The Titanic museum was very good, I have a 9 year old into all things steam so he loved it.
Nice building, recreation of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd class accomodation is very good. Interesting how small the beds were back then. Nice display at the start about life in Belfast at the time. Worth a trip.

            Andy

i'm not sure if you're being serious...... you are aware that the titanic was designed and built in belfast, by belfast shipyard workers, at harland and wolfe shipyard in belfast? notice how many times i used belfast? that's why the museum is in belfast, to celebrate the work of the men who built it and the city that created it! it then sailed off to southampton, where it began it's ill fated yoyage to america!

miss moran's is not online, it is a small independant tobacconist! not sure if that applies to the price match!
