I've never smoked a LGC, so with that in mind, which one do you recommend?

The better size Vs. the size which best represents the Marca, could be two different things, but hopefully not in this case.

IMHO the size which best represents the brand is the Medaille d'Or No 1. There is no Vs because it is also the best.

However, there is NO weak (production) LGC .... they are ALL top rank. Like the others have said, the Tainos and most of the Med d'Or are either deleted or produced in limited quantity and so difficult to get .... but not impossible. My advice, find a box of Med d'Or No 4 (Current), it's a very easy size to deal with and a good start point to the brand.

The MdO #1 and MdO #4 are lovely cigars cigars with lots of floral and fruit taste. They are expensive if you can find them.

I think a lot of the range, if not all of it, has been axed recently...although some 4s have surfaced im Deutschland with 2012 codes so the rumours might be false!?!

I've only tried a tainos (plugged) and 1,3 & 4 which were uniquely fruity and floral imo. Worth searching for them

BTW, the LCdH release (sublime?) is a fairly light affair. It's huge size belies its light flavour. Still a very nice smoke though...suitable for a sunny afternoon in the garden

Tanios if you can find them. Amazing with age. Picked up two boxes of ten in gib and never looked back.
