  • Cuaba Distinguidos

Did a quick search for info on these on the forum and could only find a few general positive comments. I'm thinking if getting a box, possibly to age rather than smoke now as the only one I've sampled was a friends which had around 8 years of age on it (it was unbelievable!)

Does anyone have any more detailed thoughts on how these smoke fresh out of the box? Are they good or are they one of those cigars which needs a few years of age first?

Fresh out the box would depend on how old the box is Joe I've not had one but have had the Divinos, Traditionales and Generos, with at least 16 months on the 'youngest'. As with most Cubans, age will improve the tobacco and blend. The thing is, will you be able to let them sit without dipping in?

personally, i find that cuabas are good with at least 12- 18 months on them!! i'm quite partial to cuaba as an 'autumn' cigar, if you get what i mean!! mind you, i've had several traditionales that were pretty tight....... never had a bad salomones, disinguidos or generos.....
