You can assume that all the LEs are made in the same year, and speaking to someone at JJ Fox's a few weeks I think you can almost assume that the are also all from the same monthOriginally posted by PeeJay View PostMy question is, are they strictly limited in production to those years or do they continue to produce them beyond the specified year but using the same blend?

Aha, well done Shepp. Any expert want to provide me with a month for my RyJ Escudos Maduro LE 2007?Originally posted by sheppsea View PostYou can assume that all the LEs are made in the same year, and speaking to someone at JJ Fox's a few weeks I think you can almost assume that the are also all from the same monthLast edited by PeeJay; 01-01-2014, 01:54 PM.'Cigars are a hobby, cigarettes an addiction'

strictly to that year. LEs, REs, and Reservas alike. HOWEVER, do note that the blends are marked down in the cuban bureaucratic system. note that ones that are produced too much or don't sell as much (or both) are available years after the original production. i've seen a few websites with the escudos still on sale. and most B&Ms have the H Upmann Magnum 48 LE09s still on sale. but all the box stamps are labeledOriginally posted by PeeJay View PostMy question is, are they strictly limited in production to those years or do they continue to produce them beyond the specified year but using the same blend?
And I know you don't really hate me B!

YYY 09
Box code and month varies, but 09 ALWAYS remains.
there are some LEs or REs that used to be discont. vitolas. many of the names escape me now, but one i'm hoping for at the current moment is the Ramon Allones 898 Deutchland Region Edition. rumoured to be the same blend as the discont. RA 898, it is sought after by quite a few!
back when i got mine, it was a facking hundred and twenty!! if i knew that, i would've asked for ALL of em....Originally posted by ValeTudoGuy View PostNice bottle of whisky there Jeremy, but had it been left in the Dalmore casks for another 10 year's it would be getting of for about a grand a bottle! :0

I don't know who told you that at Fox's but it is a crock. Popular LE's are rolled all over the place and in some cases for upto 2 years. This statement may be kind of correct for the Original Release of some EL's and sometimes accurate for some regional editions ...but very rarely all in the same month.Originally posted by sheppsea View PostYou can assume that all the LEs are made in the same year, and speaking to someone at JJ Fox's a few weeks I think you can almost assume that the are also all from the same monthOriginally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these

In that case it may be that I misunderstood and it was REs (we were talking about the Britanicus at the time) - apologies for misinforming you PeeJay!Originally posted by monkey66 View PostI don't know who told you that at Fox's but it is a crock. hmmmm.. that seems strange to me. would that mean that certain LEs from 09 may bear 10 stamps on the bottom? :/Originally posted by monkey66 View PostPopular LE's are rolled all over the place and in some cases for upto 2 years.
