Aye, around 10% of my stash too Monkey. And probably less than that % of my total cigars smoked a year. You don't get age on them, if you're gonna smoke them all the time

my stash is 10-15% el/re's. I don't buy anything for the band(s) just if they look like sticks I will enjoy.

Remember in 10 years you will treasure your regular production sticks just as much as any limited release.

If you are just looking for investment then rarity is of course a significant factor.

I think I could get into LE's but trying not to as will get very expensive. Been looking at some Upmann Magnum48's from 2009....


Watches and Cigars.

The Mag 48 were fantastic but they've went through an off patch lately, I'm not positive that they will come back. of the other recent EL I like the 520, short hoyo and grand epicure.

EL's aren't too bad, just don't fall into the whole I'm in "ER" EL only have three boxes a year while the regional program has 50 and you really need to try the VHTF regional from that island in the middle of nowhere with only one shop that speaks it own language, charges in some obscure currency, only accepts Bank transfers on the third Monday in July and ships via homing pidgin
