  • Cohiba Robusto

So, sitting here in front of the TV on a Friday night and have spoilt myself with a Cohiba Robusto, and my god it's good.

So, just putting it out there, and I know people have differing views on Cohiba cigars but, if money was no object, surely you would smoke Cohiba all the time? They are lovely and creamy, and just so much better than anything else (apart from a Monte No 2 perhaps).

I think that if I ever make some proper money, Cohiba would be at the top of my list every time.

Now that's a challenge and a half! There's some bloody good cigars from other brands!

        Glad your enjoying it though.

My simple answer would be no. To smoke them even most of the time & they would surely dimish in your eyes & they'd become ordinary. Best kept for special days & treating yourself as you are tonight. There are too many good Havanas (as Marc wisely said) to limit yourself to anyone brand. Even Snr Bolivar smokes other brands than Bolivar...occasionally!

I have to say that Bolivar are making a serious charge for my favourite band... Currently Diplomaticos are filling that role!

A couple of years back an interview on TV with a 100 year old retired baker was asked, what was the secret of a his long life. Reply, "I've smoked a Cohiba cigar every day since the day I retired" I think he retired at 85 years old.

Now don't all rush out and buy Cohiba's

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of These!

Ahhh, the grand old Cohiba Robusto! Don TJ used to keep boxes of 'em around along with the fantabulous Cohiba VI.

But ever since he "retired" (god rest he shoe sole), we're left with the the bottom-of-the-barrel sticks in his massive unit.

But back to topic, a well preserved Cohiba Robusto (or VI) is one of life's true pleasure. But as the wise, old senor simplesimon sez...probably best left to those "special moments" in life....such as when chico butterednutz finally gets laid!

Names Jay, Ray Jay, and I'd love me a 10 year-old Coro.

Ummm, Ray Jay, by "Coro" you mean a puro, right?

You don't say. Well then...perhaps a better moniker would be "chico blu-balls."

Names Jay, Ray Jay, and we can always find another nickname for Juggler Boy.

Hey Ray Jay! Quit bustin' senor butterednutz's balls! I like me nickname.

I've only smoked around half a dozen Cohiba Robustos. The best one, was the first one. Creamy as hell! Beautiful! The ones thereafter never performed as well. But yes, when they're good, they're great! I am a massive fan of the Behike. Only ever tried the 52 to date. I would highly recommend you try one Nearing the end of my 10 box that I purchased last year Summer time. Due to stock up in a few months methinks!
