  • Cigar flavours.......advice required

Generally I prefer my cigars to taste of things like cream, coffee, chocolate, nutty, earthy and less of pepper and spice.

What sticks should be in my next delivery?

Same here, HdM Epi No 2, Juan Lopez No 2 and ERDM Choix Supreme jump readily to mind.

I have an Epi 2 and a Open regatta in the humi so that's a good start.

Would I be correct in thinking the open master and open regatta would be the same construction just different shape?

At 33 RG they are a little skinnier than I care to smoke.

I smoked another Larranaga Sobresalientes last week - for me that fits the criteria.
I'm sure there are greater things in life than a fine cigar ........... but right now I can't think what they might be.

I know this is a Cuban thread..... But these flavours is what I smoke A. Fuente for.

Arturo Fuente Hemmingway series all taste like that - but more on the coffee, chocolate side.
Oliva Melanio and Maduros taste more on the nutty side.
La Aurora Preferidos (ruby, sapphire, platinum, etc) has all four profiles that I have quoted with slight variations in each.

I will agree with the Budgie Smuggler. That cigar tasted like a non-cuban to me......
