  • luxury cuban

hey I am quitting my job in a couple of weeks so just have enough time to get a cigar and rest it before smoking it on the day I leave. Just wondering what you would consider a luxury cigar fitting of that occasion, I am thinking monte no1. I know there are a lot more expensive cigars out there but I have never had one and I think walking into a b&m I'm looking at ?20-25. I am open to suggestions though and could be swayed to pick them up as well

Are you looking to keep it Cuban or are NC an option for you as well?

I will be getting some nc while I am there but the cigar I am going for would have to be cuban. I am such a snob and I have no idea why

I would go for a Double Coronas like a Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro or Punch DC.

Monte 1 is a fine smoke. Perhaps a little more special would be a montecristo especial. A truly fine smoke.

Don't let that PJ hombre pressure you chico - he tough on the outside, but soft in the middle (so I'm told). However, if you don't go with a puro..

Hoyo DC. 25 quid of loveliness. Gotta be a good call.

If you're after a Monte I'd go for a No. 2, or failing that a Bolivar Belicoso.

For some reason pyramides always feel a treat to me!

alright I picked up a monte especial as they were all out of no 1 which was disappointing. however the especial looks like an interesting cigar so thanks for the shout shaun. also picked up a punch punch and a hoyo epicure especial (amongst others) that I have never had so thanks mcdee and emaresse, I know you said dc but will see how they smoke first.
