Noone even knew whether these were any good now before they all sold out. It doesn't matter what they taste like, limited Cohiba like this will always gain value and I think that is why people buy them in the main.

I wouldn't agree on the aging though. I find most Cubans to get to their best around the 5-7 year mark. Others I've had like le hoyos and Cohiba are fantastic around 10-15+. The flavours do change over time but sometimes this is for the better.

How does anyone know they'll come good with age?
From what I read only very few cigars are better smokes when aged and most lose flavour after 4-5 years.

Noone even knew whether these were any good now before they all sold out. It doesn't matter what they taste like, limited Cohiba like this will always gain value and I think that is why people buy them in the main.

If you looked at the release night there were a load of half smoked ones...but from what I've seen online..they are ok...but young and need some time before they come good.

I had the last 17 BHK52 and 20 Siglo VI from LCDH in Cayo Guillermo last year. Guess that?s the benefit of going to the more ?touristy? places, people don?t know what?s on the shelf.

Indeed. I found half a dozen boxes in St Kitts last month but in the end I couldn't really justify $750 for a box of 52's, let alone $1,000 for the 56's.
