you have to see the Partagas Serie copies...can't rememeber what NC cigar it was but at first glance you would think its one of Partagas Serie series.

Haha, though I like the semantics, i just cannot agree. By trying to copy something you will always be judged in comparison to the original, both in its shadow, but also stealing its light. Sure it is not outlawed, and many companies do it, but it is still wrong in my opinion.

Alas, when we live in a globalised world, where trade (both open and grey market) flows, nothing is truly contained to a single market. You said so yourself, you have a box of them, as i am sure many other non-american have! Also, we all know of many an American who smoke cubans...

However - on a side(ish) note, how did they smoke? I know you said they're good, but in terms of flavour profile would you relate them to Hoyo? Just intrigued if he picked that particular brand to ripoff as it's more closely aligned with it?
