Hi guys, just picked up a JL2 from the humidor and noticed that lot on the wrapper. Anyone got any idea what it is? The flavour of the cigar is no different from the rest of the box so far but the wrapper does appear a little more fragile
I'm sure I read that those little bumps are small deposits of natural sugars in the tobacco leaf. The effect is referred to as a toothy wrapper. I don't know why it's called that though.
Ah ok thanks guys. The flavor was a bit different in the first few puffs but reverted to typical JL2 flavors after that. I assumed I'd gone a bit heavy with toasting the foot haha.
I wasn't concerned about smoking it, apart from a few burn issues and some unravelling of the wrapper it was a stellar smoke. Thanks for the input [emoji1303]
