Has the PL Montecarlo just been deleted or is it just a rumour?

So do I. And they are already deleting the Panetelas. I don't think that they'd delete two cigars from the same marca in one year.Originally posted by Alexw33 View PostI hope it’s just a rumour!
Wouldn’t surprise me though, HSA can’t be making much money on them.
They deleted the SP NonPlus as well which sucks since I don't have a box.

All the good value sticks will disappear unfortunately, it’s not like they will struggle to sell replacements at 3 times the cost.
I need 10 boxes of PLMC before they go.

At the Aussie price yes. Taiwan can keep them, I'm not paying $700. But I won't get a box since they always post stuff like this for the guys from the US in the middle of the week when I'm asleep. I look at what they have every morning and all the REs (Sir David, Tainos, Boli and RA Silver Jubilee) where posted in the middle of the week. This really pisses me off, lol! And I received another box with three cracked sticks from them. They really seem to not care much about their European customers.Originally posted by Alexw33 View PostA dying breed. You tempted by the new and more expensive ERDM Tainos?

Can't say I'll miss those three but the idea of slowly deleting all of the cheaper sticks, like they are trying to make Havana's just for the elite, which was never the point of Cuban cigars - the machine madex being a prime example.Originally posted by gojira View PostAnd HU Coronas Minor, LFdC Selectos and Quintero Nacionales. Surely they can't delete all the lower end sticks? With tobacco being a natural product, the variation must mean they'll always have a quality spectrum of leaf... What they going to do with the poor quality?? Hide it in a 58 gauge monster Cohiba....

That’s exactly what they do. These sticks aren’t all lower end, but they will be deleted and replaced with something short and fat and sold at triple the price. Can’t blame them I guess if people will buy it, but the RE/EL programs kind of ruining Cuban cigars for me.Originally posted by franco View PostSurely they can't delete all the lower end sticks? I guess it's just like everything, if more people buy it, they will make it. Slim long formats aren't smoked as much, so they aren't made as much. Same with some of the smaller brands. If people don't buy them, what can they do?
I don't see how the ELs or REs have anything to do with it?
