King of Cuban short smokes?

I'm waiting on a box of ERDM DT. I had a few singles and really enjoyed them, a surprising amount of smoke time for something so small!

And of course the glorious ERDM DT, no slouch, this modest stick is a flav bomb, designed to go with a morning coffee. And for this who think it isn't worth aging lighter marca's try a 10-20yo DT & notice the difference yourself.

I don't really smoke in the morning Simon. Would you recommend them for any other occasion?

I left it off my list as I find them too inconsistent. They can be very rough smokes in my opinion. Everyone loves them so it must just be a personal preference

Really...I can't say I have had a bad one..always know where you stand with an honest huhc always a safe bet for a quick smoke ime

I guess you can try then any time but it is best with just a coffee IMHO, would match after a meal & a beer really. I also have them before dinner, with a glass of bubbly.

Hoyo PR have not been good for me but I haven't had one with more than 2 years on. I have half a box put away to try in 3/4 years. I haven't tried the Cohiba Exquistos but

Had one from a 2016 box last week. Really nice. Picked up a 2013 box last year which I haven't touched yet either. Like the HUHC a lot and have got into the El Principe recently.

The short smokes from Cuba just tend to be really good and not a bewildering selection so you can try a few and start to get a good idea about what you like

The reyes is king in my opinion. They do need plenty of age to really shine though, I have very few 2011s left but each and every one is a real treat. If I was going to smoke something young I?d probably go with the HUHC or a little left field I?ve had some cracking Punch Petit Coronations young.

The reyes is king in my opinion. They do need plenty of age to really shine though, I have very few 2011s left but each and every one is a real treat. If I was going to smoke something young I’d probably go with the HUHC or a little left field I’ve had some cracking Punch Petit Coronations young.

The only thing with the Reyes is that for the same price I usually end up going for a petite corona, but I have never been dissapointed by them, or with any Trinidad actually- I love the band as well!
