    48?

I consider it the best puro of the year that I've smoked so far, and if you follow my posts, I've smoked some mighty find puros this year.

    But that's just me.

Been raiding TJ's humidor again, boy?

(Ahem!) No worries, Pappy. I'm keeping track of TJ's puros and will report what JB stole when, if, TJ's returns.

Jeeze! You're such a snitch, ya' stupid looking smiley dawg!
If you are giving them the thumbs up then I will follow your lead and give them a try TJ, although I was wondering if it may be worth spending a little more and getting the Magnum 48?

These have a little age on them and may prove a better smoke in the short term.

    Decisions, decisions........

Looking at the date list the 48's are May 09.

Now the 46's are Nov 05 - What do you think worth a punt ?

If the decision is between the 48 and the 50. Its no comparison. They are as disimilar as any 2 H. Upmann cigars I've smoked. The Mag 50 is wide and nutty and sometimes very creamy and the Mag 48 is thin and dark and more berry flavored. It is a very tasty cigar and may come of age in a few years, but very different than it's compatriots.

        Cheers

          .

Well, senor Brandy, if it were me and I wanted a puro I could enjoy sooner rather than later, I would go with the older puro. But that's assuming the 48 is similar to the 50. I've never tried the 48 , but the 4-year old Mag 50 EL was an excellent smoke!

But as senor hog implies in his post, these fine sticks needs some age on 'em before they are "approachable." (I likes that line!)

          JB, JBCoro

Hey! I thought BJ, BJCoro was doing the posting these dayz?

Juggler Boy sent him out to find a left handed screw driver

(Hurumph!) You boobs know quite well there is no such thing as a left handed screw driver.

            48!

I am going to stick with the 48 and see how it fares. If it transpires it needs time in the humi then that is not a problem.

Good information, senor andy! All things being equal, I always go for the older puro, but if they're not the same....well, that's a whole different matter.

              Decisions....decisions, right senor booze?

Sorry, Mate. A bit late for the party... this time!

But I've penciled you in for the next upraising, which shouldn't be long by the looks of things around these parts!

I've tried the Dukes. A great full bodied smoke. Recommended!
