Hello everyone, I'm writing from the other side of the Atlantic in Montreal.
I found your forum while researching on the matter that I'm about to discuss. I'm glad I found a place that appears to have many active members!
I've been interested in cigars for about 5 years but I just started getting serious.
I stumbled uppon an add on Craigslist for Cohibas Robusto. Though I was very suspicious I asked the seller to send me pictures and this is what I got:

Now I am aware of the obvious signs that these are fakes:
However the rest of the box appears right; looks like cedar and the ribbon looks correct as well.
I visited the Partagas factory last October and was offered cigars by workers about 6 or 7 times. Could these have been smuggled out by workers who then sell them on the street. I know it sounds far fetched but in Cuba you never know...
The seller is asking $100 for the box or $5 each. I'm supposed to meet him tomorrow, told him I'd take two, I'll post more photos when I get them.
What do you guys think?

Now I am aware of the obvious signs that these are fakes:
- Seals NOT on the box
- Authenticity seal printing quality is off and paper is too shiny
- No factory code or date on bottom of the box

You can wish all you want, lad, but those bad boyz are
fake,
Buy if you want, they might make a great addition to the
counterfeit section in your humidor, but don't hold your breath
hoping they will be very good or even close to a genuine
Cohiba.
