One idea that has been mentioned few times here at H&F is that, with the Olympics coming here in 2012, it may be a nice idea to have a cigar dedicated to the event. We will have two Regional Editions for 2011, so the idea would be to release one in the regular manner but hold the other back and release it to coincide with the opening ceremony.

I think it would be a lot of fun and create a lot of interest. Although marketing it would be a bit of a minefield I think it would be worth it. The question is, would this be of interest and, if so, what cigar should we request?

Aye but London was built on the ancient Roman city of Londinium (named after the Roman god of overfilled, stuffy tubes that are always breaking down!)

Mind you a Rooney Robusto might have been fun for this year ... or a Capello Belicoso!

We could always have one that costs a fortune, looks nice but the actual performance is crap.

Now where have we seen that before.........
