OK ..... didn't take notes this afternoon, but .....

Appearance: Very elegant. Rich, oily dark wrapper. Light age bloom. 8.5

Pre-light: Light vegetal aroma. (reminded me of a Sherbet Dab). 7.0

Taste: Refreshing fruits and grasses, does not alter until last third when the taste becomes more complex and leathery. 8.5

Construction: Bit of a lopsided start. Evened out then stayed on course throughout. Nicely compacted ash. 9

No. An even bigger, bigger mistake. For some reason I was thinking on the 'A'. I think I'm getting old!

I think maybe the price is the biggest put-off for many Monkey .... that and the size not making them the easiest cigars to store.

Yes!! The Especial is a great smoke. Lovely size too. Needs a bit of nursing to stay lit because of the small RG but very much worth the effort

Talking Monte's I think the Monte 1 is great. Never seems to get a mention but a lovely vitola (especially with a couple of years on them).
