98-00 were known to have draw problems. At double the price I'd skip it; but if you got the cash go for it.

Well as sure as can be this will be worth buying and the price seems very reasonable to me. Snap it up.

there was a boli 98 from this H&F aged selection as part of the haul I won at the mega herf, I have to say it was a bloody amazing smoke, so I would be tempted by the punch, price seems ok I guess.

1998/1999 were good years IMO. I would pick them up while you can.

If they are ex H&F and part of the batch of aged stock currently being released I would say that they will be wonderful.

I smoked an aged 1999 Upmann from the H&F aged stocks recently and it was magnificent. Just need to find out where to get some more now!

I would say Yes, because they are EMS HF banded cigars and they would my only box like that.

By double I mean what an un-aged, non-EMS version might be bought for.
Then I would say yes indeed, buy them and enjoy

If stored properly, they should be very good.

I like fresh cigars so the point is moot for me. I only pay more aged cigars if it isn't too much more.(not double)

Yes, it's a bit scarey .... and the HdM's are about half as much again more expensive!

It's a difficuly call. Some just get better, others have well and truly stalled in the ageing process by that age.

A conundrum that I'm contemplating too (looking at a cab of 1998 Le Hoyo du Dauphin).
