Not true. I used to use a very trustworthy retailer based in Cyprus, well known to several on here from another forum for their aged stock. I haven't bought from them (or anyone else for that matter) for a few years and I believe they started having 'shipping' problems so (at least temporarily) stopped selling to the UK. I don't know their current status, but still get emails from them.
