In case some of you have missed this gem, plenty of interesting tips & history in this podcast. Did you know Jemma started of not as the leader of any other type of business but as a Saturday in JJ Fox, London? Man, all I got to do was train as a butcher under my father. Don't expect the pay was much different but instead of getting to pay for a bottle of beer from the Off licence at the end of the day (when I was still under age), she got a smoke!

And she's a fan of long & skinny! Just makes me wish I'd bought more boxes of La Renia's, instead of buying so many Gold Mine Shares!
She also says that H&F don't have any Fundies in stock, so if they don't UK won't have any, unless someone B&M has a box hidden away??

Cheers Neil. Now I have actually finished it, a couple more obsvations: His croaky voice was due to hay fever & possibly heavy smoking on his UK stay. Jemma talks even more than I do at a herf & consequently had to keep re-lighting. Family businesses usually fail with the 3rd generation, JJ Fox Dublin is now 5 generations, Floris 8! I thought Jemma came across really well & more enthusiastic than I imagined, sure now her win of Cigar smoker of the year, some time ago was justified (beside being the head to the controlling company in the UK).

Of course she see's H&F consolidation of the importing as a positive, we might call it a monopoly & generally their not good & can be blocked by the Government if they think it's not in the consumers interest. Guess this company had control far to long to be challenged?

Finally, the 50 Cab of Boli CG's from '99 they were drooling over, being naked & 20yrs+, I still have a few left from '02, that I bought from a 50 cab, in Antwerp. There were 25 left & I took them all & the cab to keep them in. I can assure you, they are sublime, too soft for some perhaps but I love them, will be a tough day when I finally smoke the last one.
