Lovely! Excellent Vitola in this batch imho and even more satisfying knowing that they’re nicely aged 💪🏼

Hi Arf' long time no hear. Aye thicker than some but my avge is around 42rg. Hope you have been well & still biking? Just a couple of your stix kept I think, although I expect I am the only one? Everyone one was as a great smoke for me, thanks again.

Just arrived in Haugesund, yesterday. Managed to complete my very, though induction & visit onboard the Penguin.

Everything looks good but will be 4-5 months before t h ey kit us out with medical stores.

Went ashore this afternoon & found a very decent tobacconist called Bon Bon (sells sweets as well).

Found two wee sticks to smoke here, if weather permits, Boli No3 2019! And PL Pan 2020, for approx a tenner each. Not bad. 😉

Smoked my fav skinnies & back to back, to fully appreciate their individual characteristics. First the lighter Hoyo du Gourmet 2013 33rg & later the LGC Medialle d'or No3 2002 28rg. Both have more flav than you might expect & well worth trying, if you can find any, as both sadly out of current production. Smoke as slowly as you can, without allowing it to go out (takes some practice), as overheating will ruin the finer flavours.

Such a shame to not see cigars like that being made any more!

Hopefully we see a retreat from this bigger ring gauge = better cigar trend and see a return of the skinnies

Absolutely agree but not anytime soon I fear. Best hope is a couple more expensive Regionals.

Gonna have my last big smoke before Lent this evening. Decided on a ER2009 but which on would you choose? I'll let you know tonight which I picked.
