Just found this brochure in my files. Makes interesting & depressing reading.

ERDM DT e1.75 with inflation should be e3, not 8-10.

Siglo VI Tubo e20 - with inflation should be £33, not e100+.

Proof, if proof was needed, these increases have nothing to do with inflation but shortage of product & what the Asian market is willing to pay & therefore Europe is being screwed to prevent them selling to the Asians.

Not Cubans I'm afraid. I can get twice the cigar for half the price without having to worry about gotten a bad box that I have to store for 5 years only to find out it's indeed a bad box.

There's some great Cuban cigars, but not worth those prices IMO.

Well first I pick a selection of things that are probably good smokes but prohibitively expensive in the modern day

Cohiba Lanceros x5 - 82.00
Cohiba IV x5 - 59.25
Cohiba Robusto x5 - 42.90
Trinidad Fundadores x5 - 60

Then I throw in a box of La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.2 for 203.75

With the last 50 euro I pick up a box of Demi Tasse

Before I leave 2007, I also send myself a postcard with instructions to purchase bitcoin, just for good measure

So depressing and sad to see. Also, seeing the availability of beautiful cigars that are gone forever!

If I was selecting, not based on investment purposes, ie Cohiba , I'd pick:
Bolivar CG
SCdlH El Morro
ERdM Corona

Plus as many of the LGC range as I could fit in my case
