  • Prices seem too high?

    In Majorca

some reasonable boxes available, but prices seem too high?

    cohiba ambar box of 10 - €1,100
partagas aliados 20 - similar price

cant justify pulling the trigger at those prices, doesn’t even stack up from a bond Roberts perspective

    what do you think?

You are talking about premium stogies, on the Costa del Sol last month the few Cubans I bought were below half price.

Somewhere in Gibraltar price the Party's at £1050, so for €1100 seems good actually (although that's for 25)

Prices are ok (Ambar too expensive for me), Gib is same prices or for some cigars even higher than Spain since habanos unified prices in 2022.

There doesn't seem to be a great saving on high end Cubans (Cohiba/Trinidad etc)

They're pretty much the same price all over the world now. When Ambar first came out, the UK was cheaper even than Spain at around £650 for 10.
Here's a screenshot from my smoking shop. I know they're out of stock now but that was the price they were selling them at...

Thanks guys, such a shame. Got quite excited to see the Ambar box, but quickly faded when told the price!

Hmm Deano, don't know where yore getting this from? I visited Gib 2 times since the Habanos equalisation of prices WW, and both times ALL major Cubans were now more expensive than Spanish official prices
The last thing I bought 18 months ago was a cab of PL47 at EXACT same price as in the UK.

Well this is the last time we discussed it:

                    https://www.ukcigarforums.com/forum/discussions/cigar-travel/749880-gibraltar-herf#post749902

                    and now:

                    Montecristo No 2 25 Cigars
                    Gib: £517.50
                    Spain: 625,00 €
                    HOYO DE MONTERREY Petit Robustos
                    Gib: £325
                    Spain: 372,50 €

Price of Cuban cigars in Spain, ALTADIS official importer of HABANOS S.A. Contact one of the official stores for any purchase.

It's now so close it depends on the Euro conversion rate. But you can still save a few quid (or spend a few more quid) in Gib.

Considering there’s largely not a lot in it, I suspect nothing might happen!
