Yes, they were two disappointments but overall good result. QdO I bought in Havana in 2018, so no great loss on what I paid. There were a couple of bargains that slipped by. If I knew how much I was going to make, I'd have bid on a couple.

I would say that the final price for the Cohibas more than off set any disappointments Simon for sure.

I think once the recent BR update is sorted and less crap than it currently is, there are better prices there. But, if I had some special lots / rarer boxes, I'd give them to Mitchell to move via his auctions. I think you'd get the best of both worlds there - that's certainly the approach I'm thinking of taking.

Do you think that's because there's more exposure to the Asian and Middle East markets there Steve? Or something else? I quite fancy dabbing in the auction sales myself with a few of my bits n bobs.

I don't think CGars will ship to the USA hence the popularity of BR. There are a lot of US buyers and sellers on BR

BR doesn't ship and dont take responsibility for shipping - sellers ship directly.
At OCA CGars some lots are shipped by CGar but I don't think they ship to the US any more.

Hardly any US buyers today are taking the chance of having anything shipped to the US, so it's become an internal US market and that is easily seen on the various FB forum selling prices

I've noticed on BR that there are many listings that are in the US but will only ship to the US. Never noticed that before so you're bang on there.
