Just thought I'd share this with you, from the last Cigar Insider of the year (CI being the subscription newsletter of Cigar Aficionado). They have analysed their scores from 2010 in many different ways, and in many different categories. This particular table was of interest I though, splitting this year's scores from Cuba down into brand averages (obviously only taking into account the cigars from those brands which were actually 'tested' this year):
(The columns are: Brand / Number tested / Avg score / Avg price)

Of course, there is always the debate over scores, they are subjective and will always be influenced by personal tastes and preferences. However, I thought it was interesting...

Simon, where they taking price into consideration? That might acount for the Cohiba low scoring. The other thing that strikes me, are they really the going UK rate for those smokes these days? Glad I built up my collection over the last few yrs, very few of which ever saw UK shores (has to be some advantage of living across the Chanel).

They are just showing an average of the scores received by cigars by that marque which were reviewed this year. Essentially, in CI's case, it's almost entirely LEs, REs and new releases (e.g. the BHKs).
