Bolivars for me the strongest, full bodied cigars. My husband loves them, recently we have tried Bolivar Gold Medal, something with history. Was good, rich, earthy, full flavoured, we have stocked some, actually a box

EDIT - Sent an e-mail just incase.
Not been able to PM you, not sure you've enough posts yet. Thanks very much for a very kind offer. But, I'm going to pass if I may - one of the other fine BOTL is hopefully sorting me out a small sample in trade for whatever I can find him!

In fact why not start here with that search...

Does anyone have some Boli RC's or BF's with a couple of years on them that they might be willing to trade/sell?

PM me if that might be a go'er and I'll give you a quick run down of what I might be able to offer sticks wise in return

also, no matter what anyone says, for your first bolivar, i'd recommend you go for the PC (or tubos 2, it's the same cigar)!!! yes it is strong, but it best represents the bolivar brand IMO!!! why not make yourself up a sampler pack? that'll give you a real idea of what you are looking:
    Belicosos Finos
    royal corona
    petite corona (or tubos 2)
    corona gorda

btw, bolivar is (at the moment) my favourite brand!!!

Right... time to hunt down some Boli's with a couple of years already on them. I have been thinking of grabbing a few samples but the thing I hate about just grabbing singles is that not all places will oblige with marking down the age/box code. Knowing that some Boli's will be a bit harsh when young, I'm keen not to put myself off 'em by trying one that's not quite there yet. Next time I'm in London I'll have to see what Fox's have in their humi...

    Cheers for all the input...

I'd go with the RC to start with. I'm not big on strong smokes and this is a good boli to get started on.

They are a brand I've not really touched either so this is good info. I've got a BF sitting in the humi that Deano game me for my secret santa so might have to give it a go soon

Snr Bolivar says; I'd hold off on the PC's I remember finding them really strong when I started on Boli's. Can't go wrong with BF's but I have had Gold medal's with out much age on them & they were fine. All the Boli's improve with age but you'll get an idea of their potential from recent production.

I love Bolivar too! I'd probably recommend a Royal Corona myself, though a recent Corona Junior was incredible. Try and get a few years on them as others have said.

The pc is one of the strongest Boli's and put me of them for a while , the BBF if a much better smoke more rounded but still very tasty. Don't know about age but I had a conniseur no 1 from 2010 last night and it was fantastic, it seems the later years are the best
