Top 7 boxes

Okay going to Beruit in July and I have three other adults going with me. I'm wanting to build a collection so I want some variety in size shape and flavour. I'm going to bring back 8 boxes, one might be the RA Phonecia's, what would be the other top 7 boxes, what would you go for? Please, no limited editions or ten year old aged boxes. Although I can ask the lovely ladies in there to pick out boxes going back at least 2/3 years old. So variety and go to quality what is your top 7 boxes and within 3 years old - go!

Get a box of Trinis, the robusto Ts are really good (so are the robusto extras and fundadores). Whats also nice is HdeM epi 2s. The classics : MC2s. I really like RyJ cedros No3. Cohiba coronas especiales or lanceros are great too if you are willing to go that high in price (well tbh the Trinidads are just as expensive). Anyways those are some of the stix I have in my humi

Trinidad Reyes, RyJ Coronas and or Churchills, Partagas Shorts, Siglo 1 and/or 2's, that's my best no brainer selection I hope it helps.

Wouldn't say no to any on your list but I've had inconsistancies with some HdM Petit R's. Swap em out for the suggested Trini Reyes..

I think simonc's list is nearly spot on. Upmann 2s have to be tried by everyone as they don't get the attention that other 2's get but are equally as good (better for me)

I find hoyo very unreliable in recent years except for the petit robusto which I nearly always love

If i was getting lusitania's, I'd want D4s over P2s. Just because then you have a strong short robusto, or a long incredible DC. Whenever I smoke a P2 it always sits in no mans land between D4 and Lusi and I wish I'd chosen either over it

I'd try and fit some bolivar in there too... maybe to replace party 2's or Punch DCs, and you cant go wrong with Boli RCs or Beli finos

For my money the Monty 2s are just too inconsistent, I'd swap them out with either Diplomaticos #2 for a lighter sweeter smoke or Vegas Robaina Unicos for a darker, richer smoke (personally I'd get both and take away the Upmann #2s as well). I'd maybe also swap out the JL2s for Upmann Connie 1 but that's a close call.
