I have all three but will always be a PC gamer at heart, just finished Portal 2 and now getting stuck into Deus Ex 3. I've waited a long time for this game so it better be good!

Out of the consoles I do prefer the PS3, the 360 has been relegated to the status of DVD player in the bedroom.

I do like a bit of an MMO now and again, I've played most major releases since CoH first came out. I've tried to get into Eve but just end up feeling lost and directionless, with a 10 week baby now I doubt I've got the time to get into it again!

Definately PC, I think you get so much more with the PC, from the graphics to the depth, plus as I great up with WASD and Mouse I am unable to use the XStation's controller.

Gears is a very good game! Nice cinematics but not too overkill as in 2, varied enemies now you have locusts And glowies I haven't really been a huge first person gamer, not since N64 and Goldeneye , but this seems pretty easy to get into as well.

What voltage is the RAM that your using?

and why not 1600Mhz ram?

The mobo is a ASUS P8Z68-M Pro

Noctua NH-D14 cooler with arctic silver 5 thermal

The RAM isn't the best I could get but I was in a position to get a lot of the components I needed on the cheap through certain suppliers, the joys of running an IT department

Hahaha, aside from that fact that I work in IT, my wife is always calling me a geek because I cannot make impulse purchases. Everything I buy gets researched to within an inch of it's life, the more expensive the item the more research involved. Getting into cigars has sent my OCD tendencies into overdrive
