Well from the question in the op. No you can't you will have to pay duty of around 180 quid a kilo and then 25 % vat on top of the duty and the price you pay for the cigars oh and the postage.
It could be a genuine query though I doubt it

I've just re-read the thread and I didn't see anyone suggesting that purchasing cigars in a country other than the UK is illegal. The contentious issue here is attempting to avoid paying applicable duties on tobacco products that we might bring back to the UK from our travels. Hence against the rules to talk about at this forum.

For online UK purchases cgars ltd will price match any other UK retailer. Other good ones are my smoking shop and greens of Leeds.

There is a thread where Lasceux describes how to do it legally - I can't be assed to find it on my iPad! It's a grey area, but it's 'banned' because this forum is a hobby, and I'd much rather not have anything legally contentious on here. I just don't want the hassle! Thanks for advising him all.
