Hi PB, didn't know if you'd mail-ordered it or not as the tax breaks from abroad can be quite substantial, no wine or beer though. Yours has a 43mm case the same as the Navitimer...so theres always the 1st anniversary..

Navitimer & Sea Dweller are two entirely different beasties.
The Breitling is a fit for purpose instrument worn by dozens of professional & amateur pilots as a serious back-up tool. The Sea Dweller on the other hand is designed as a showpiece for nouveau riche people to parade their seagoing credentials....I'll leave Sludgie the 'Sundodger' out of that category as he's earned his right to wear something applicable to his trade..on others it's just a 'Cock watch'.
Even my old Aquagraph is technically a better watch than the Rolex for the amateur sailor or diver not wanting to pop down to 4000ft.
By the way a Navitimer is also a 'Cock watch' to those who don't use it's functions.......

A few years back Breitling did a special edition of the Navitimer called the fighters edition. This was certainly NOT the most expensive one they have ever done but it called to me for a couple of reason. Partly I liked the placement of the sub-dials as it meant the date was in a better position, but mainly because the steel is brushed, not highly polished to the chrome like finish they usually go for. The bright shine finish is too "bling" for my tastes so this was the one I have worn and loved for some years now. Any thoughts Puffy? If you have big pockets look for the first version of the "Twin Sixty" which had four sub-dials, the lower one having two hands of its own. Hard to find now.

"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
