Today is the anniversary of the Argentine surrender of the Falklands Islands. Unfortunately due to a family bereavement today have been unable to mark it significantly (just raising a glass of Belgium beer as I type) but hope to do so tomorrow.

Terrible that 31 years later, people still feel the conflict in something the rest of the world seemed to have forgotten. Nary a blurb in our local Newspaper about it even..
