'Captian, oh my Captain...'
We have been building up gently all day but around 20:00 whilst typing away on this PC, we have suddenly gone up to a real sharp 8-10o Roll & 65 knots. Anything not tied down is moving & I am having to type & hold on to my desk with one hand. The chair was tied to the desk but when I got up to make tea the roll jerked the chair & it broke the tie, hurtling across the bay. Now re-tied & looking fwd to a being thrown around the bed type of night. In the RN everyting was designed to be fixed or solidly fixed when required, sadly not on this ship.
Third good blow this trip.
So how's it on the beach chaps, blowing the cobwebs away or just a little damp?

. Female stwds onboard, had to come offsore to get those, none at sea in the Pusser in my day. Can confirm being thrown about in a confined space of a yacht not good. Once picked up a Nicholson 55' in Bermuda & sailed her to the Azores. Ten day crossing & interesting story which I'll save for another day but here's the proof.
