Cone and Go!

A lot of "Bubbas" have gone missing from this forum over the years - snrs., mullethead, Booze, Robusto, and until recently, brokenwing. to name a few.


But as me pappy, Pappy Coro used to say: "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other is gold."


Well, that's what they tell me, anyway. Never really knew the man. He was gone long before I got her.

Even though I don't smoke that much I've made some good friends from cigar forums. I enjoy the online chat and discussion of not just cigars but other topics as well.

To be fair I do find them quite a bit cheaper...Don't get me wrong I do have some Cubans that I'm waiting for better weather to have and I'm sure I'll be buying more (in the summer in Italy) but I am finding myself exploring NCs more and more, but also not just down to the money aspect, the non Cubans are really fascinating me right now. There's a whole lot of great smokes out there waiting to be tried.

Must admit I don't think I have much to contribute when it comes to expensive Cubans as my budget doesn't and won't ever stretch that far.

Do you find NCs really that much cheaper than CCs? I've never found them to be particularly cheap but haven't ever really thought about it in fairness

Bubba did do a true disappearing act, he went from being one of the (if not the) most regular posters, to not posting at all in the space of a day! I'm sure he'll be back soon 😊
