Never really seen much of Hamilton, but having a quick look online, they have some very nice pieces.

Cheers, I was the same but glad I went with it. The watch does seem to,get some nice comments. I like the Hamilton range and may get something a bit more 'dressy' in the future, seeing as I've just spent my Rolex fund on a new roof!!

I really likethe the look of the Oris Arteris Skeleton

some nice choices there... And while Oris are getting steadily more expensive they will still be a good price. Their more exotic ones are always fascinating. And the more 'wearable' ones always look the part and have a little something else in the detail too.

Yes, I've had a quote from my dealer to return it to Breitling, I've also had a quote from an independent but if I'm honest one of the reasons i haven't yet had it done is because i don't know if I'm comparing apples and oranges. The independent I spoke to didn't really fill me with confidence, you know, deep breaths, hhhmming and ahhhhing, 'well if I need to order parts" and so on, Ive no idea if those ordered parts would be a additional cost, but then I have no idea if ?550 at Breitling might end up costing more because something not ordinarily included in the service is needed.
