Hard to tell, probably not but it has a raised lip so there should be a seal of some sort.

I was seriously considering this myself, to the extent I have contacted a restorer who says it could be brought up to a fine finish for 200 sobs. Just found something else to spend my cash on so I'll throw it open. No musty smell & ready to use according to the seller.
