Confession time: I looked in the drinks cupboard only to realise I'm fresh out of Irish and blended whisky so I decided to use Buffalo Trace bourbon.

This is absolutely the best drink that I've ever paired with a Maduro, it really sets the flavours off without overpowering them.

Try a cement mixer; shot of Baileys, hold it in your mouth then squeeze a slice of lime into your mouth with it, same effect.
