no not exactly, although that sounds like a good story. Tusk had a hybrid walrus man. Now back to Mandingo,PJ would be right in that I have never seen any of the films, but they seem very popular on the streaming service we both use

Saw the latest Hobbit tonight. I found it enjoyable if slightly underwhelming. I can't say that Im a fan of the current trend of trying to drag films out into as many parts as possible just to maximise takings. I thought the Hobbit would have been better as just two films.

I agree, it should have 2. Have you read the book? I found that a lot of things in the film that changed from the book for no reason, which got on my nerves a bit. Changing things for no reason - Peter Jackson is becoming the new George Lucas

My main issue with the Hobbit movies is the heavy reliance on CGI, it just doesn't look as absorbing or age as well as top notch makeup and prosthetics / animatronics.

The Hobbit dosent look or feel as top class as the LOTR trilogy to me and it due to CGI bad guys and Computer elves surfing on everything in sight. In 10 years LOTR will still look great where the Hobbit will be out dated.

If you don't believe me just re-watch the original Jurassic park and then look when it was made.... Tell me that it's not still one of the best looking movies ever!

This year I've been to the cinema twice. Saw gone girl which was good. Then the imitation game. Which was excellent. On blu ray guardians of the galaxy was great.
