          • Just watched Tell me who I am on Netflix, brilliant film making and in that respect one of the best documentaries I?ve ever seen. Effective in that it might be the most soul destroying thing I?ve watched

            • The man who knew infinity.

Nice tale of an unknown genius mathematician. Self taught from Madras. Incredible glimpse into the view of maths from this mind and his desperation to share with the world via Trinity College. Fascinating.

Quite dramatised perhaps. But a good telling well made.

                    • Watched Snowpiercer the other day and enjoyed it especially as Bong Joon Ho always delivers on the audio-visual front.

Great movie and nice to see there is a mini-series now on Netflix which I’m assuming gives some backstory.

Worth a watch if you like your dystopian style movies.

                        • caught Last Blood the other evening... so graphic and OTT its comedically bad.

"Dear heart, you're talking to a man- a real man- who drinks straight Tequilla, with lime and salt on the rim, and smokes cigars" (J Zavala)

                            • Dead Silence. Made by the same guy who did the Saw movies and was actually OK.

Keep an eye our for the Saw ‘easter egg‘ towards the end.

                              • This was a film denied a cinematic release by the pandemic and instead released for rental on Amazon. It was well worth the rental fee. Twelve people deemed ‘deplorable’ by a liberal elite are abducted and flown abroad to be hunted for sport. A misspelled name means one of them is not who they’re supposed to be and they don’t take kindly to being hunted. Bloody and violent with a theme of ‘woke’ irony this was a very entertaining 90 minutes of action and humour. Betty Gilpin is the star and her character is one I’d happily watch again - 8/10
