40th Birthday - What did you do / What would you want to do?

Had a day trip to Geneva with MLW to celebrate my fortieth. Flew from Luton, wandered round Geneva and bought a few pressies for myself from gesto cigars. Great day!

We took a weeks holiday to Iceland for my wife's 40th, on her actual birthday we got to see the Aurora Borealis in full flow, NASA rate the shows each night on a scale of 1-10 and ours got a score of 9. Totally awesome, hypnotic and I can't recommend the Iceland experience enough (take a fat wallet though!)

Awesome! I'm off there at the end of January. The Aurora Borealis is the thing I am looking forward to above everything else. I hope we get a good show...Roger that on the fat wallet...and primed credit cards!

Wife took me for a long weekend in Amsterdam

For my 40th, we had 7 nights in Vegas & 7 nights in Hawaii . Grand Canyon helicopter tour with a Champagne picnic. In Hawaii, we did Pearl Harbour & I did a Shark cage dive.
My wife's 40th was our 1st holiday to Cuba!. I emailed the hotel ahead of our trip & got an ocean view top floor room, flowers & a cake on the day of her birthday.
We haven't got kids ( unable to have them ) so, we tend to have slightly better holidays!

I did a bungee jump and had a holiday in Mexico and then Dubai. And family meal at carnoustie golf hotel.
