Follow the thread, Tommy! Novacaine is a topical gel. Benzocaine is the injectable local analgesic... I can make a gramme of that stuff from simple chemicals found around the lab. Ready for a chemistry lesson, gentlemen!?

ONE GRAMMES FOUR TIMES!? I swear 4grammes is the generally accepted lethal dose for Paracetamol (we call it acetaminophen here).

I don't think even a sailor's liver can handle that dosage!

Tramadol is absolutely mental. It screws with your sleep cycle as it's a seratonin reabsorption inhibitor on top of a pseudo-endorphin. There is absolutely no medical benefit in using Tramadol instead of dihydrocodeine or codeine. But that should work well for your purposes.
You feeling happier than usual, Mo?

Jez, Paracetamol over here comes a 500mgs, dose 2x4 daily. In Belgium they have 1gm tablets so when I took the usual 2x4 I accidentally O.D ! Having worried about it for a few he's I went to A&E & they checked my bloods, luckily still no problem.

just searched it up and the NIV says 12 g is a fatal dose. huh.

Did not know that. I tend to avoid all Paracetamol (acetaminophne), Ibuprofen, Aspirin, etc in general. It gives me annoying stomach problems that I can deal without...

Paracetamol is by far and away the most used painkiller in the UK, closely followed by Ibuprofen. Both are even given OTC for use with children as suspensions in syrup...... They are as safe as it gets if you stick within the use recommendations.

Not a nice way to die though paracetamol overdose.
