  • I've started watching The 100. I'm about half way through the first season so far.
It is shaping up to be a decent show. It does have some similarities to Terra Nova, which was
pulled after one season, but this certainly appears to have a bigger production budget. The cast
is a lot younger too and the show is obviously aimed at a different audience.

Another great series is Deutzland 82. All about the cold war and how close we came to actual war. Shows it from both sides of the curtain. Hopefuly there will be another series.
        X 2 on Deutschland 82

        • Reminded me of being in Germany in 87 as a v young soldier. A lot of the themes it touched on rang true for me. Supposed to be another series coming soon but a bit later. So in theory, when I was there. Rumour has it, it's based around the wall coming down

          • I've just finished (being on a streak of insomnia): "Case" - grim but good Icelandic drama; and the second season of "Fortitude", which was batshit but excellently so.

              • I watched SS GB last night too. I read the book back in the 80s and I don't recall any Americans in it but then Len Deighton didn't need to appeal to that market. Anyone else think the scientific conspiracy is about a nuclear weapon?

I turned it up a notch but the lead does have a quiet voice.

                          • I've been watching Homeland recently, got through seasons 1-3 and just started watching season 4. Seasons 1-3 were really good, a bit of a different storyline in season 4 so far, but it still has me interested.

Love this programme, Raymond Reddington is a great character, interpreted brilliantly by James Spader. The consistency of mannerism and quirk is impressive to say the least!

Also only an episode in, but series two of Billions is excellent again.
