Quite the same never been one to keep up-to-date with current new series. Think I'll give the wire a look, it's been recommended before.

          • I can highly recommend The Leftovers. Halfway through s2 at the mo and it's excellent.
Very much looking forward to when all of season 2 of Preacher is available as well.

Preacher! I've been looking to watch it but since I was a fan of the comic book I had some apprehension about it being adapted to TV. Would you say it carries over well?

              • Personally I didn't make it past the first 25 minutes of episode one. But man, did I love the comic book back in the day. I even purchased a page of art from the book 15 years ago. Sold it later on though to partially finance a bigger purchase.

I never read the comics, but the first series was very good. And I can't wait for the next!

                  • There has to be some deviations, things get pretty twisted from early on. For your recommendation it will be added to the list.

                        • I really loved season 1. Season 2 a little less. Haven't seen the third one yet.

                            • Just devoured the first season of Sense 8 over the weekend - really am enjoying the show, the Wachowski's really shine having more room to breathe in a TV series than in a film!

                              • Picked up on the first of a new supernatural series called 'Midnight, Texas' on SyFy. Based on a series of books by Charlaine Harris who wrote 'True Blood' the opening episode was very promising. It even kept my wife awake!
