I had been meaning to start watching this when it was released, and on your prompt i have just watched the first episode - really enjoying it, great suspense, beautiful cinematography, and some top talent involved - you can just tell this is going to get better and better, a real turning of the screw!

About to finish the final episode of Subbura on Netflix. Superb show. Recommend watching in Italian with English subs.

Not yet. I watched most of Gommorah the film a few years ago. Must rewatch and finish it!

I've read that Subbura series was developed as a prequel to the film, so that's next on my list. Hope it lives up to expectations!

Yeah, I liked the film and the series as well. Especially season one. I didn't see the Subbura film yet but have it on blu ray.

Currently watching Glitch on Netflix. I'm honestly not sure what I think of it. Love the concept, but go between thinking that it's really clever or just mundane, there seems no inbetween for me.

Just finished watching Witnesses: A Frozen Death. A French subtitled series that has been on BBC4. Terrible but I couldn’t stop watching it.

Finished Godless yesterday. Not bad at all and it has a huge gunfight in the last episode that is pretty well done. Jeff Daniels is very good in his bad guy role.

Finished the new series of Black Mirror. Moments of brilliance, possibly the weakest overall as a season though IMO. I felt like much of it had been done before (no spoilers!). I do enjoy (?) the influences of Artaud in Black Mirror; it translates well on TV and makes for some uncomfortable viewing.

Working my way through Line of Duty again. IMO, a great reminder of how a (too rare) well-paced, understated and brilliantly-plotted British police drama without drawn guns every five minutes and a with script that doesn't patronise the viewer trounces pretty-much anything of the mountains of derivative cop shows from across the pond. Just saying.
