I caught the first episode of 'Z Nation' this morning. If you didn't catch it don't bother, its a low budget low imagination version of 'The Walking Dead" and I even caught a couple of cheeky references to the superior show. The zombies are also fast like the 'Infected' in '28 Days Later'. I have already deleted it from my schedule.

And if you haven't been watching 'True Detective' then catch up. It has really picked up since the opening episode and I'm so glad I stuck with it. Last week featured one of the bloodiest shoot outs I've seen in a while. And it has the added bonus of British actress Kelly Reilly, an acquired taste probably but she has something.'Cigars are a hobby, cigarettes an addiction'

I have the first few episodes and they are pretty wild! The Political Satire seems to take place amidst A LOT of adult humour. I'll stick with it.Originally posted by Johnny Thunder View PostAnyone like a political satire? Can't make up my mind whether or not to give it a go.

Yep been watching true detective and thoroughly enjoying it , series one was v good , I don't generally watch American shows but the likes of sopranos, breaking bad , better call Saul, Fargo et al are a breath of fresh air . I'm a huge fan of Cohen brothers movies and I find true detective in a similar vein to no country for old menOriginally posted by PeeJay View PostAnd if you haven't been watching 'True Detective' then catch up. Agreed, absolutely fabulous series. I'm just sorry I could never find an HD version to show the wife - not even 720p.Originally posted by sheppsea View PostI've been rewatching The Wire while my wife has been away - despite knowing what will happen I'm still hooked, certainly the best ever TV series I have ever watchedDavid

The Wife 'suggested' we watch this over the weekend, not too bad at all. Pretty good story with a decent cast. Definitely going to stick with it.Originally posted by tommy View PostCurrently watching "Madam Secutary" which although is made by the same people as "Homeland" I though it sounded a bit, well er, shit. It's actually quite good.
