Orange the new black is quite good..The first season was based on the memoir of the real Piper, that the only reason i started watching it and its a good watch with the wife..

[MENTION=13450218]Demeter[/MENTION] The Shield is a fantastic series and seemingly doesn't get the numbers it deserves compared to The Wire?
They're ultimately very different beasts and whilst The Shield doesn't pack in as much social commentary, it has some seriously heavyweight subplots and storylines. I'm currently trying to find the time to rewatch it and convince my wife to join me.
