We have a lot of Oban plates on the go here I.e. SJ10 BAN. One of the local traffic cops I know is forever pulling the drivers up for not having the legal spacing between the letters/numbers. I think he and one of his colleagues made it their mission to get everyone who did it, or maybe they were just having a bit of competition between themselves.
